Action 67 - NO to the budget continuing resolution. Call Jared Golden TODAY!

Background:  The continuing resolution bill is still in the House.  Apparently they are teeing up for a vote.  We urged you in the previous action item #66 to thwart it in the Senate, but it’s not there yet.  It may be voted on in the House this afternoon.  Jared Golden needs to join the other patriotic Democrats and vote NO.    

 The latest sleight of hand by the Republicans is a provision they slipped into the bill that would prevent Congress from nixing the bogus “emergency” that gave Trump the ability to impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico.  The Republicans in Congress truly have no shame.  They are voting away their own responsibilities under the Constitution.

 Action:  Call Golden’s DC office and urge that he vote NO on the continuing resolution.
