Special Project

The Deer Isle / Stonington Democratic Committee is launching a project to track the local impact of decisions out of Washington - federal cuts, tariffs and other policies. We are reaching out to individuals and organizations about the specific impact on fishing, farming, food aid resources, healthcare, veterans, education, building contractors, local businesses, and others. We will be tracking costs, changes in resources and other effects and posting stories and other information about the impact on our families, friends and neighbors.
