Allowing the Senate to kowtow to Trump in this matter neuters the Senate completely and would be a VIOLATION of their oath of office. A PRIMARY responsibility of the Senate under the Constitution is advice and consent. Let them know you will be tracking their votes on this and raising a ruckus if they cave.
