Know your rights with ICE and CBP

"Know Your Rights with ICE & CBP: What to Do and the Spectrum of Bystanding to Upstanding is an educational workshop presented by MDI Red Cards and sponsored by Indivisible Peninsula.

The session empowers participants with knowledge of constitutional rights, immigration law, and how to safely and lawfully respond to encounters with ICE and CBP.

Topics include distinguishing law enforcement from impersonators, recognizing lawful vs. unlawful tactics, and understanding when and how to act as a bystander or upstander.

The event also offers practical tools such as video recording guidelines, role-playing scenarios, and information on local resources and rapid response networks."
