Hello, all - A reminder that our next meeting is this coming Monday, Feb. 16 - 5:30-6:30 at the usual place - Deer Isle town office.

As described in the February newsletter, we will first quickly take care of some routine but required bi-annual housekeeping:
- election of officers

- approval of bylaws

- election of delegates to the state convention

- appointment of island representatives to the county Democratic committee.

- discussion about the upcoming caucus in Ellsworth

But for the bulk of the meeting we’ll start laying the groundwork to ramp up our efforts through the year - whether within our island committee or by teaming up with similar Democratic groups across the county.
All of you know this, but it bears repeating - everything is on the line as we head toward November. There’s a lot we can do to boost Democratic votes and change the political dynamic.
